Mission

Deployment of an energy savings simulator for consumers

Issues involved

Darty seeks to boost its e-commerce marketing position for white goods by creating value for its customers. It deploys an eco-calculator on its e-commerce website: a savings simulator which calculates the environmental and economic gains of usage when changing household appliances.

Solution provided since 2013

  1. Deployment of a “widget”, an application service, directly integrated into the Darty e-commerce website
  2. Creation of a calculation method: in a few clicks, the customer measures in euros, and in energy savings, the gains he can make by household appliances, for example
  3. Customisation of the eco-calculator design

  • The product databases date back to 1998 and cover thousands of products
  • Savings calculations are reliable (approved by a third-party organisation)
